Spacemaisu is a project of a (Space) Landscape Architect Sanna Sarkama who wants to be shaping the future landscapes on Earth and beyond.
The journey begun from the search for a subject for a Master’s Thesis that would combine my passion for Space and Landscape Architecture. The search took me to Mars, where the problem of humans in extreme environments will realize itself in the near future. I eventually decided to study how a green environment can help humans to adapt to Mars and how it could be done.
The same problem can be found on Earth too, as humans migrate around the globe due to climate change, natural disasters, wars or from their free will to ISS and the Antarctica for research purposes.
The journey is just starting. I want to be there the whole way. Get your ass to Mars!
